The Sooner Porsche is the brainchild of Norway’s new Porsche Classic Center. They are known for thinking outside the box and devoting the time required to put together each new concept of the 911, nicknamed “Sooner.” The Sooner Porsche concept originated from Norway’s official Porsche Classic Center Son, renowned for its innovative approach and meticulous dedication to reimagining the iconic 911. Each Sooneris the result of extensive craftsmanship and creative engineering—an entirely new interpretation of Porsche’s timeless design language.
The name Sooner carries a double meaning. It plays on the English word “sooner,” while also paying homage to the Classic Center’s location in Son, a historic seaside town south of Oslo originally known as Soon. In Norwegian, “sooner” can also mean “quicker,” a fitting description for these purpose-built, performance-focused machines.
Every Sooner Porsche is a bespoke backdated 911, hand-built by factory-trained Porsche Classic technicians. Each car is uniquely specified, branded, warranted, and crafted to Porsche’s highest standards of precision and authenticity. Production was strictly limited to just 13 completed examples, ensuring each Sooner remains a rare and collectible creation.
